FAQS

How are cold processed soaps different than molded or milled soaps?

Molded and milled soaps are processed using a high heat technique that breaks down the healing ingredients in vegetable and essential oils. Cold processed soaps use only the heat of the chemical reactions between the oils and the base. The natural glycerin is also preserved as an important moisturizing ingredient. All of our soaps are made with vegetable-based oils (canola, coconut, palm, olive or soy) and may include natural nutrients (shea butter, goat's milk, carrot root oil, Vitamin E and / or jojoba).

How do I know if a product is right for me?

First know your skincare needs and sensitivities. Read the labels for the specific ingredients. Note that different oils vary in their personal benefit to your skincare. Our brochure and website can assist you with finding the right product.

What is the difference between essential oils and fragrance oils?

Essential oils are pure plant oils, 100% synthetic free, such as: clary sage, ginger, lavender, lemongrass, patchouli, tangerine, tea tree and others. Fragrance oils are 97-99.5% synthetic free, such as: apple, pear, plum, raspberry and vanilla. Tallow, lard or animal fat is not used - commonly listed on other soaps as a "sodium tallowate" ingredient.

What's aromatherapy?

There are many soothing effects from our natural ingredients to either calm or stimulate your mood and senses. An absolute treat and a feeling of freshness all day.
